Lindsay Austin was born and raised in Washington DC and has been singing and performing for the entirety of his life. The son of music teachers and professional musicians, he started practicing vocal harmony with his siblings and writing his own songs at an early age.In 1999 Lindsay and his brother Phillip “Flip” Hough started The Fishermen Band in Los Angeles, California, a culmination of the two’s original writing.  The Hough brothers won over audiences with intense Simon and Garfunkel-esque harmonies and catchy up-beat tunes. Both brothers would eventually leave acting to pursue Music full-time.
