Everett Stora was born in Jamaica. He moved to Maryland in 1994 and after many trips finally made Nashville his home in 2008. Though he grew up in rural Jamaica and the Cayman Islands, Everett always felt a deep connection to U.S. southern culture. His childhood was greatly influenced by many southern rock and country artists such as; Kenny Rogers, Willie Nelson, Charlie Pride, Reba, and Travis Tritt among others. He was in a gospel choir for many years before making the decision to persue a career in country music. He began writing his own music in 1999 and has spent the last decade performing with his incredible stage presence, high energy antics, and a sound like no other; Everett quickly won the hearts of the local music community in Nashville, and he’ll surely win yours as well. Once you’re introduced to him, you won’t soon forget him.
